My Own Journey

My Own Journey

Something that is important to me when looking at brands or companies to get behind and loyally give my business to is an ability to relate, and a feeling that the brand is what it says it is. Authenticity is important, in everything we do.

Throughout all of the shadow work and realignment, life editing and habit changing - nothing ever changed for me until I reached the point at which my mindset shifted. When I made up my mind and said 'Following the same patterns and doing the same things is clearly not working - why the f**** do you think anything is going to change like this?' (a little bit of tough love goes a long way) - everything got a little more clear and lot easier.

1 - Making up your mind that you ARE sticking to the new habits. You ARE going to lock in and get consistent; nothing is getting in the way.

2 - Realizing that no one is coming into your life to make it easier or to give you the right answer - we're the adults (as unfortunate as that is, it's the truth).

3 - Loving yourself and treating yourself like the love of your life is a top priority. Think of someone that you love beyond reason, who you would do anything possible to make them happy or content (or think of that toxic love that you felt nothing but regret for once your realized who they really were and that they had always been that person, you just didn't want to see it) - how do you treat them? Talk to them? Would you speak to your child or the love of your love or your amazing Grammy the way you speak to or treat yourself?

4 - Fake it until you make it. Manifestation is kind of like this phrase. You speak your desires into existence by understanding that the things that you want and the goals you want to accomplish are meant for you. You were/are always supposed to be that amazing version of yourself. Present, speak, act as though those things are already true and are going to be happening - it's just a matter of time. Kind of like when you're planning a vacation or planning for a big party. You're getting everything organized and getting excited. You imagine how you're going to feel once the plane lands. Feel the happiness you're going to feel when you walk into the room and see all of the friends you haven't had the chance to meet up with in months or years!

5 - It is what it is. Trust yourself and your timeline. Everything happens for a reason, what is meant to come to you is going to come. That does NOT mean you can just sit at home all day every day and expect these things to come to you. Absolutely not! Set the goal, picture it happening, and take the steps you need to take to make it happen on your end. Somebody has to plan the party, yeah? If something goes a little bit off course or seems like it's throwing a major wrench in the plan - don't freak out (I know that's easier said than done, practice makes perfect). Understand that sometimes you have to make your way through some tall grass before you get all the way there. It's not going to happen overnight, and it's a journey not a teleportation trip.

6 - Practice makes perfect. Part of what we're doing through the Reset Edit is guiding you through realigning and resetting your mindset so that you CAN encounter something a little off from your plan and still not freak, you'll just breathe and know that it's going to result in an awesome and abundant party anyway. What's meant for you is going to make it's way to you, and you to it - but we have to do the work to get our brain and mindset to the place where it needs to be so we can be consistent and focus.

Through my journey, I've fallen and stumbled and ended back at square one so many more times than I'd like to admit. But as I'm sitting here now (still on my journey) I can confidently say that anything that has happened to me for certain happened because I needed it to. If I hadn't made all of the mistakes or chosen the wrong thing all the times that I had, I wouldn't be where I am now.

Life is not perfect, for anyone. Anyone who sits there and looks you in the eye saying that their life is perfect and everything is great is lying right through their teeth. But also beauty is in the eye of the beholder - you know? My life is for sure not perfect; but I'm learning from the negative and breathing through it. There's so much to be appreciative of and grateful for and the more I focus on those things, the more I can envision the abundance and positivity that I still have to look forward to.

What goals do you have for your journey?

*What is your big goal? Where do you want to be ultimately, what do you hope to accomplish? Then > What needs to happen in order to get there? Then > What do I need to do to accomplish that? Then> What can I do right now? What's in my control, what's out of my control?

I want to help you make your plan, set up your goals. Let's do this reset - are you ready?

Start here with these questions, let's figure out where your head is at right now and then go from there. If you're not there yet, you're not there yet. At some point, it'll click and you'll just get it.

Either way; you are valuable, you are beautiful inside and out, you are meant to be exactly what you want to be and you deserve all of the things. Believe that first, and the rest will follow.

I love you - thank you for visiting!
